What are credits
Some pipelines require heavy computations that most computers cannot handle. Typical examples are our advanced auto-digitizing pipelines. As you know, you cannot just turn a picture into an embroidery designs. However, some images can be traced into embroidery designs more easily. We therefore propose pipelines that can create from an input image a ressembling design that both match the input and the fabricability constraints. Our pixel art pipeline is even based on a published research paper we wrote a few years ago! Some other pipelines require a style transfer operation or specialized vectorization techniques. These typically require GPUs or third-party service, and every digitization is costly. We introduced a credit system to account for these specific costs. Everything that runs solely on your machine, including the whole editing tools, are completely free of charge or included in their respective packages without limit of usage.

How to get credits
Every paid subscription includes an allowance, which arrives with each billing period. You can also top up credits with packages.

Frequently asked questions
Do credits expire?
No. An allowance you did not spend this month is still there next month, and a pack you bought a year ago is still there today.
What if a pipeline fails?
Its credits are refunded automatically, without you asking. You are only charged for pipelines that deliver a result.
How do credits work in an organisation?
They are pooled: one balance for the whole team rather than an allowance each, so whoever is working that week has the credits.
If I buy credits for my organisation, who gets them?
The organisation. The card charged is yours, but the credits land in the shared pool, not in your own balance.
